Millinery Work
Observing the interaction between an individual and their Fedora, Bowler or any other headgear, fascinates me. Some people feel taller, prettier, more interesting… some even use their hats to go incognito! for sure, headgear evokes an alter persona. I find that working with a person to create a hat grants me the opportunity to connect with them at a personal level. I find inspiration in the ever-changing ways of fashion and I see them as an invitation to express multi dimensional creativity. I love the problem solving process of creating hats but mostly, I love to see the feelings one of my hats ignites on the wearer and on those who spot them.
